Location: Remote (UK-based)
Hours: 25–35 per week (flexible)
Salary: Up to £43,000 FTE (depending on experience)

The role
We’re looking for a Suitability Consultant to join our growing remote-first team.
Day to day, you’ll work closely with advisers, review and evidence advice, and play a key part in raising the bar for advice quality. Expect to:
• Analyse client objectives, risk profiles and financial data
• Research products and investments
• Prepare clear, well-evidenced suitability reports
• Undertake cashflow modelling and portfolio reviews
• Act as a “suitability guardian”, ensuring every recommendation is compliant and in the client’s best interests
• Share knowledge and support junior team members
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
• At least 2 years’ paraplanning experience
• The right to work in the UK
Skills that matter:
• Sharp eye for detail and comfort working with structured processes
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Confidence with IT systems (Word, Excel, CRMs)
• Ability to manage multiple cases to deadline
• Integrity, curiosity and a collaborative style
Nice-to-haves:
• Chartered Financial Planner qualification (or working towards it)
• Experience with compliance, suitability frameworks or file reviews
• Familiarity with tools like FE Analytics, Selectapension or Defaqto
